Evening primrose oil is a natural source of essential fatty acids (EFAs), commonly called good fats. Essential fat supplements have been shown to offset the high consumption of trans and saturated fats consumed in the typical American diet. Research on EPO continues to support its importance in assisting the body in obtaining healthy joints, combating symptoms of PMS, gastrointestinal health as well as providing benefits to those with various skin care problems.
