|To make pine tree tea, you must first cut off a small bunch of needles and wash them over cold water for a couple minutes.
Once the tea is clean, boil the needles in a pot with 2 cups of water (you can increase the water amount and tree needle amount based on how many people you are serving). After the water has boiled for 15 minutes strain the tea to get rid of the needles. You may need to use a coffee filter to eliminate the fine particles in the tea.
This tea is so mild and originally sweet that you may not need sugar. However, if you are not accustomed to tea and its flavor, then I suggest experimenting with sugar, honey, and even peppermint. The combinations are endless and lead to a wonderful tea packed with important vitamins. So this holiday season, create a new experience with pine tree tea and give yourself the gift health.
